Kā nokļūt līdz North Sydney?

Ielidojot Sidnejā atvērām draudzenes jau iepriekš atsūtīto instrukciju kā nokļūt līdz North Sydney, lai apskatītu slaveno Operu un pilsētas centru. Ceru, ka noderēs arī Jums :)

 

SYDNEY ADVENTURE!

 

These are the directions for you to get from the Airport to North Sydney, where you can leave your bags with my sister at work and we will pick them up after I pick you up and we go back home!

 

I have also arranged something that is left with her… so I hope that the weather is good as it involves seeing all the sites of Sydney (on foot!) When you see her you can pick up the bag and the letters I will leave with her!

 

  1. ARRIVE AT AIRPORT!

 

Once you have arrived, get your bags and you will have to go through customs. Australia is very strict so bring no open food with you, but things like tea is ok. Once you have gone through customs and out into the exit area you will see signs that say ‘TRAIN’ follow these signs towards the train, you will go down a few stairs to get there.

 

  1. AT THE STATION – called ‘INTERNATIONAL TERMINAL’

 

Once at the train station go to the ticket counter and ask for ‘2 tickets to NORTH SYDNEY STATION’ (the tickets should cost about $13-15 each) and then make your way to the Platform that says ‘CITY’ as this train will go towards the City, which is where you want to go! The train will come and jump on!

 

  1. ON THE TRAIN!

 

You want to get off the train at ‘CENTRAL STATION’

The train will pass the following stations;

DOMESTIC STATION

MASCOT STATION

GREEN SQUARE STATION

CENTRAL STATION – this is where you will get off the train – it should take just over 10 minutes to get there from International Terminal.

 

  1. AT CENTRAL STATION!

 

Get off the train and make your way to the lifts at the very end of the station (will be easier with bags). Go down in the lift and you will then have to look for PLATFORM 16. Take the lift up to this platform and wait for the next train, it is called the NORTH SHORE LINE and you want to go to NORTH SYDNEY STATION! *All trains on this platform should go to NORTH SYDNEY STATION, however there are TV monitors on the Station that you can check and it will say what time the train is coming and what stations that it goes to!

 

  1. ON THE TRAIN!

 

Once on the train you will pass the following stations;

TOWN HALL STATION

WYNYARD STATION

(the train then goes over the Sydney Harbour Bridge)

MILSONS POINT STATION

NORTH SYDNEY STATION

This should take about 12minutes on the train

 

  1. AT NORTH SYDNEY STATION!

 

Once at NORTH SYDNEY STATION... walk up the stairs and put your tickets through the ticket machine!

Karti ērti var papildināt lielveikalos un „ Seven Up” punktos (tie ir tādi paši veikaliņi kā Latvijā „Plus Punkts”, strādā 24h diennaktī). Iekāpjot transportā karti jānoskenē un izkāpjot obligāti tas jāizdara atkārtoti, pretējā gadījumā tiks ierēķināta tālākā brauciena biļetes cena un šī summa automātiski tiks novilkta. Šādu karti izmantoju Queensland reģionā, Brisbenā, nevaru pateikt vai tādas ir visur Austrālijā.
